“The Love Doctor” is a narrative-driven commercial built around a couples therapy session. The scene takes place inside a small, flat room with no practical lighting. I had to build the entire emotional tone from scratch using motivated key lights and subtle practicals to create contrast, shadow, and tension. The couple is struggling. The Love Doctor sits between them, guiding the conversation. But the real issue isn’t love, it’s how they see each other. That shift comes through Hometown Heroes’ hoodie set. The hoodie isn’t just a garment, it represents stepping back into your role. The brand’s message, “Save the Day,” becomes symbolic. In this case, we weren’t saving the day, we were saving a relationship.
